Very high CPC

Hi all

I have been targetting this keyword for maybe 1 month now and get good traffic.
CPC used to be approx 1eur-1.80eur

These last 3-4 days the cpc has jumped to 4eur-8-eur a click.
I am not one to complain about CPC but i have gone from 90 click down to like 20 clicks.

I have tried lowering the CPC but its there any other ways around this
I am thinking about trying [keyword] so it doesn't look for broad matches.
