I don't know the real cause, but not because of that. First of all even if he did use the VPN, it would have been provided by the AVUnit, who still is free. According to some "soruces" AVUnit works for FEDs, or maybe some sources want us to think so. Second of all, Sabu was sentenced to 7 months in prison if I am not mistaking. Why would some notorious hacker like Sabu be sentenced to 7 months, while some "non hackers" get arrested for "hacking" and serve enormous prison time? Was Sabu working `for` FBI for 6 months or all that time long? I personally don't buy that ratting out would decrease the sentence
I think these questions will remain unanswered.
