I believe it is also a target for many activists and hacktivists. I heard some news that this is under debate now about whether to keep twitter (X) banned forever

they've gone back on that, I think they've discovered that it's almost impossible depending on whether you're using a brigde and other things to mask it. it's likely that there will be a lot of hacktivism involving brazil and communication systems or bigger things in real life

there will always be a place for irc in my heart it's nice for groups and large communities to communicate, self hosted, etc.

I'm trying out matrix, it's been a good experience, there are nice communities.
